Unfortunately, there are people out there who would do anything to have control over Jenna.

     Isaac is astounded with a lot of emotion toward Jenna after she saved him. She is beautifully delicate and the life she has lived since she was a very young girl is horrible which brings out the protective and possessive side in Isaac. He and his fellow team members join forces because someone out there will do anything to get Jenna back.

     Jenna was sheltered from the outside world, used and abused by the cult who possessed her. She might be a bit timid and naive, but a small and happy glimpse of her childhood before she was taken gives her the strength and patience to seek her chance to escape. Luck or fate was on her side when she met the man who could keep her safe.

     Now the story was a little insta-love. Isaac was besotted which is an understatement. And sometimes his growling about her situation and going all caveman around someone who had been so sheltered drove me a little crazy. Jenna adapts to the real world quickly which may seem a bit questionable to some, also. But I have been a fan of Ms Banks for a long time as well as this series and it's her writing that keeps me reading. I read to escape and I don't want to over analyze the story which has so much suspense and romance compelling me forward. I love the guys at the DSS and the women who have joined them. The paranormal element is entertaining and subtle rather than "in your face" unbelievable. This group of people have each others backs even while in danger and are a great merging of friends that have become family. The story is fast paced with lots of twists and surprises. In the end, I rooted for Jenna and Isaac's happily-ever-after. As always, I can't wait for the next book in the series!

What do you like to do when you aren't writing?

I’m a complete homebody & enjoy hanging out at home with my family every chance I get. It’s rare for me to leave my house!

What types of scenes are your most favorite to write?

I love revealing information about various characters personalities and the closeness between them through dialogue. I also always look forward to writing the dark moment as I love me some angst!

What are your favorite types of stories to read?

I love stories that don’t feature a couple who spend the entire book apart or that focus on internal conflict. I much prefer to see the hero and heroine together on the page and to see them working together to overcome external conflict.

Are there certain characters you would like to go back to, or is there a theme or idea you’d love to work with?

I absolutely love following up with characters from a previous story whether it’s including them as secondary characters in a newer book or writing a short novella that revisits them so readers can see them after the HEA

Is there anything that you would like to say to your readers and fans?

I absolutely credit my readers with my success and my career. They, not me, are why I’ve been able to write close to 80 stories in the 11 years I’ve been writing
