My Review:

This is my first book by Liz Carlyle so I didn't know what she would write like. I've been a little burned out by historicals lately, a roguish hero and the impoverished heroine, but this sounded different so I thought I would try it out. The cover was eye-catching as well. It did surprise me.
    Isabella is a widow with little money who is also trying to take care of her younger sisters, and Anthony, the Earl of Hepplewood does not hire her to be the governess to his young daughter (as she was led to believe) and sends her off instead. Neither one can forget each other, and through some unusual circumstances, they meet again.
     You have to read the book for more, but I must say if you like gentler love scenes, then this novel is not for you. I wasn't expecting the spicy and sexy love scenes so early in the story.
     I did enjoy the story and the main characters though it was a little slow at times. There are some nasty relatives that Isabella must deal with, but her love changes Tony and together they meet the many challenges in their unusual relationship. I would definitely read another story by Liz Carlyle.
