About the Book:
Cameron Westcott has spent eight years recovering from heartbreak by keeping romantic entanglements casual and simple. He’s never minded being called a manwhore, but after two years immersing himself in his new winery, he might be ready for the next chapter. Especially when he meets a sexy wine distributor—only she says she isn’t interested.
Following a bitter divorce, Brooke Ellis relocated to Ribbon Ridge to rebuild her life. Things will never be the same for her, and she’s coming to terms with that reality when she meets charming, persistent Cam. She can’t imagine a happy ever after given his reputation, but he makes her feel so good.
As the sparks between them intensify, they’re both hesitant to commit for very different reasons. Or are they really just sabotaging their own futures? If they can trust each other—and themselves—they may realize that what they share is too good to let slip away.

I know that I am not the only fan that was relieved that the Ribbon Ridge series novels weren't over, they just branched off to the Love On The Vine with it's sexy Westcott brothers! In SO GOOD, we have the sexy bad boy Cameron meeting his match with the feisty, yet wary Brooke Ellis.
What a roller coaster of a romance this book is, filled with sexy sass as well as heart tugging emotion. Brooke is smarting from a painful divorce, so she has no interest in dating men who are players when she finally decides to dip her toes in the dating world. She decides to concentrate on her career, but of course she meets the one man she shouldn't want, Cam Westcott, yeah, the one with the reputation as a player! What she doesn't realize is that he has had some heartache in his life, too. He's a guy and not going to admit it to anyone. When she tells him that she isn't interested, that intrigues the hell out of him and the game is on.
The electricity between the two is hot and sexy as they taunt each other while trying to ignore their increasing attraction. At first, they agree to be friends. Their problem is the tension is getting to them and they can hardly keep their hands off each other, but then something always comes between them to damper the fire. It's hard as they can't ignore the embers which always flare up between them. Finally, they begin to take a chance on moving forward together, but their hurt and baggage take it's toll. They have the chemistry, but need to take a refresher in Communication 101! They have a falling out after Brooke gets some upsetting news and finally shares her painful past. Eventually after he calms down, Cam realizes that he does want a chance of a future with Brooke and he comes thru in a beautiful way. Emotional here! All I know is that I was holding my breath waiting for them to stop sabotaging their new found love and take that big chance on each other.
Phew, what a ride!
I love Darcy's writing and how she has you become emotionally involved with the characters who are full of depth and heart. The way that Cam and Brooke communicated was realistic and it made them so human with all the pain and the joy until they found their happily ever after. The only bad thing is the wait for the next story!
