She doesn’t know if she has the courage to pursue a path that means giving herself body and soul to a mastyr vampire. Will she return to her normal existence in Flagstaff, Arizona? My Review:

Caris Roane  delivers a sexy fast-paced novella where the paranormal and human worlds meet. Abigail may seem like an ordinary human to certain members of the Merhaine Realm, but it takes an extraordinarily brave woman to leave her home and try to establish a new life in a new world. And by opening a bakery! She and Gerrod are attracted to each other but he is the Master Vampire and ruler and because she is a mere mortal, she is unworthy no matter what she does to his heart and libido. Gerrod is a sexy ruler and must protect the lives of his people, but sometimes he frustrated me with his royal snobbery and I wanted to thump him in the head in defense of Abigail. But when he discovers she could be his Blood Rose in a time of danger to the realm by the Invictus, his eyes begin to open to the treasure before him.

I was given a copy of this novella by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

  1. I haven't tried her books but often like how they sound. I will have to give her a try.
