My Review:

I have been waiting a long time for Torr and Grace's story and this did not disappoint. Grace is a healer and she healed the dying Torr by taking the demon poison into herself and by doing this she nearly died. In order to be healed, she was whisked away into another world by Brenya and into a area of women and children in hiding from the Synestran. Brenya is powerful, but even she is beginning to weaken as her magic must ward the village from horrible creatures sent by the demons.
What makes this one different from the other stories is that Torr and Grace are in the other world with very few other characters and only small moments with the tormented Tori and Nicholas. Brenya has made Torr promise that he will not reveal himself to Grace who does not know who he is. But she finds herself drawn to Torr anyway and this story, shows that she still is a strong and brave woman, even if she is human as she bravely fights the monsters with Torr who are showing up more frequently outside the village. Torr loves Grace and is very protective of Grace, and loves her, but he doesn't believe that she could be his mate because humans have such a short life span. Regardless, they show their true worth to the readers by being the wonderful, strong people they are. And I can't wait to read the next book. I wonder who it will be about. This is one of my favorite paranormal romance series.

I won this book on Goodreads and this is my honest review.
